    Title: College
It has been a busy month needless to say. Getting ready for Austin's 11th grade classes, then getting Victoria ready for college. Every parents wish comes true for their child heading off to college all the while we stand broken hearted. I told her I would not cry, however, I did before we got out the door.

I have confidence that Jeff & I raised her right. This object of our affection was now leaving our home with every thought, every word we have told her. It is her time to mature and learn to live life and continue to enjoy what God has blessed her with.

We had to let her go, and to think 18 years ago we where told not to have children. A big step of faith and God spoke her name to me, "Victoria." There is significance in a name, and I not only saw that at her birth but through out her life. College is no different, she continues to be "Victorious," in all she does.

    Title: Twilight
Okay, I must admit, I have fell for this "Twilight Series," like most have. Somehow, it all started with an interview of Stephanie Meyers on the Glenn Beck program and I told my daughter about the book. After purchasing the first book, Victoria came in and told me about it. That was all it took. For days, my laundry went undone, I did not answer the phone and only ate when I had too...LOL..

Soon I was asking Victoria for the second book. At this point we were in a race to finish it. I would read up into the wee hours and while she was at work, the other times she had it. So now that we have completed the third book, we both are patiently waiting for the fourth in the series that comes out on August 2nd. I have been told by her to get my own copy. I will, needless to say. I would also like to insert that if you like vampires and werewolves, this is a book for you. It is not the gross factor of the movies you have seen prior, it is truely a love story of two completely different people. And it brings up the memories that (if you are my age) of the first meeting of your sweetheart and how you felt when he came around. Just a great series.

    Title: Daughter's Graduation
I never thought I would survive that day. All I could think about while watching her walk down the isle to take her seat, was the first day I walked her into kindergarten class. I'm sure like most of you, we all can remember those days. "Seemed like yesterday," as I can hear my mother say. And it does seem like yesterday. I reminded my husband, that the next time she walks down the isle it will be for college graduation and then marriage. He just shrieked at the thought!

For her graduation, Victoria wanted to visit Cedar Point theme park. A lovely family place, of roller coasters and rides that swing back and forth for an eternity. Again, I can recollect my parents telling me, "That they just couldn't do the theme parks anymore." I now understand why. After the first two rides we saw, I was lying on a bench sipping Sprite and downing Dramamine. I was okay after a while. At one point all I could get out of mouth was, "Oh, Jesus, just help me get through this day." And needless to say, He did. It was a nice three day trip and no sooner than we got home, Victoria and I left for registration for college. Another drive.

That was a blistering two days of meetings, same song different tune. I did keep in mind that this was for her. My child, that seemed like yesterday, when I was chasing her around the swing set, walking her to class and now sending her off to college. This was a big step in her life and I am glad I was there to be apart of it.

    Title: First Week
First week in, we hit over 100 hits in 4 days! Orders are coming in and word of mouth is spreading...I can't wait until next week. It is amazing how you look forward to doing something when you enjoy doing it. Shelia my sister in law is busy getting the pics ready for the baby items, I can't wait to see those too. So until next time. Drop me a line, I think I might venture out on to the Facebook and myspace thing, I know that will make my daughter just cringe. LOL

    Title: New Website
Well, I thought it would never happen! But it did, thank goodness. The website is up and running. I changed mid-stream to another graphic and somehow, I thought I knew what I was doing. Not! Thanks to the DIY staff and I must mention Bebe with Off The Beaten Path. I bought my original graphic from her and it is so pretty, I plan on using it on something else. She was wonderful to work with. Thanks again Bebe.

I have made several changes since the site has been running. I guess that is normal since I read and change, read and change. So much so that my eyes are telling me to stop. So until next time, good-night
